Amun:
One of the important gods in the Egyptian pantheon  whose temple at Karnak (the best surviving religious complex of the New Kingdom). Originally a local god of Thebes. His name was probably means ”the hidden one”. He was usually represented as a human figure wearing a double- plumed crown, sometimes with a ram’s head.
